This event usually takes place around the first week of March. It is a ticketed, adults-only event and is usually sold out. The proceeds from the event are used by NMSA to plan other events throughout the year.

This carnival-like event takes place in mid-July in the Niles Community Park. It is a fun-filled day with food, music, games and lots of cuteness all around.  Humans show off their four-legged best friends in various competitions. Many rescue organizations and vendors set up booths to sell all kinds of stuff for humans and their pets.

National Night Out is celebrated by inviting the Niles Community to gather at the Niles Town Plaza. Fremont Police and other city officials typically stop by to informally mingle and chat with the families.

Held on the last Sunday of August, this is the largest event in Niles that brings thousands of visitors and hundreds of vendors from all over the Bay Area and beyond. More than 200 vendors line the streets selling Antiques, Art, Crafts, Jewelry, Plants, food, and several other items. 

Debuted in 2021, The Niles Haunted Train Car is a Halloween event where the train car in the parking lot is filled with spooky ghosts and goblins complete with music and light effects for a fun-filled Halloween venue for kids and adults

This celebration of Spring takes place in mid-April. It is a festive day where many residents open up their yards to the public for private garden tours and vendors line the streets selling art, home and garden decor, etc.

Started in 2012, The Niles Altar Walk, is a local celebration of Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)! Locals, Friends of Niles, Artists & Students build altars to commemorate the lives of passed loved ones, ancestors, and icons.
