Niles Holiday Shopping Help
Niles is not just antiques. Our merchants have a passion for the unique, the special, the stuff you won’t find at the mall. You could spend a day in our town and likely find all you need for Christmas gift-giving and entertaining! And you can do it at a leisurely pace! Come up for a lunch of soups, salads, and gourmet sandwiches at Joe’s Corner or The Nile Cafe.
After lunch, hit the boulevard for “Santa browsing.” Send Dad and the kids over to the train depot, where they can spend some time at the railroad museum and at the model railroad layouts at the passenger depot and freight station.
To end the day, plan to have dinner at one of our unique eateries. There is Cici’s Italian Ristorante, where you can get a great calamari steak and a piece of chocolate cake that will knock your socks off! If you have a more eclectic palette, step into the Vine Restaurant for dinner inside or out on the (heater-warmed) patio, and gnosh on some “New American” cuisine accompanied by their wine, beer and sake/soju cocktail menu. Or, if you are craving some Continental fare, head up to Papillon Restaurant on Mission for some rack of lamb and maybe a flambe’d “bananas Foster”!
To be sure, Niles is the place to go on “Small Business Saturday!”
