Music Festival 2014
September 21st 10am – 6pm
The featured bands include The Bacchus Brothers (Rock, Soul, Jazz and Country), & The Billy Martini Show (70’s Dancy Party Band), No Fly List (Beatles and Brittish invasion classics), and Joe Rose & The Howlers – (Blues/Rock/Swing). The festival also includes a “Locals Showcase Stage” featuring John Gomes, Page Frakes, Gracie Brown, Dano Porter, Marcus Homorody, Skip & Sandi Snyder, Josh Bowman, David Carter, Sara Mithra, Bruce Cates, and others. The Plaza is located at 37592 Niles Blvd Fremont.

The Festival Schedule
10am-1pm – Niles Locals Showcase w/ a dozen acts, PLUS Kid’s activities, Sack Races, Prize Raffle Extravaganza. The showcase stage will also host ‘Tweener’ acts between bands.
1pm – 2pm – No Fly List (Beatles/Brittish Invasion)
2:20 – 3:20 – Joe Rose & The Howlers (Blues/Rock/Swing)
3:40 – 4:40 – Bacchus Brothers (Rock/Soul/Country)
5:00 – 6:00 – The Billy Martini Show (70’s Dancy Party)
The concerts are free to the public, just bring a lawn chair and grab any open seating on the plaza lawn. Lots of shade canopies are provided by the NMSA, and there is also ample sunny bench seating facing the amphitheater with great views of the stage, the Niles hills, and the historic old town. This is a family friendly event and also includes a Kids Zone. Stop by the Train Depot for a tour or enjoy Sunday steam train rides through the Niles Canyon on the original track bed of the Transcontinental Railroad, and an active silent film theater built by the Edison Company during Niles’ hey day as a silent film mecca.
