Doug Avery |
Doug Avery, Niles Main Street Association President, has been a resident of Niles since 1984. Doug retired from Hewlett-Packard / Agilent Technologies in 2003 after a 26-year career in information technology and telecommunications. Doug owned the Niles Grill and Ale House for a brief period. He can now be found most mornings at the Nile Café. Doug serves as Niles Main Street Association President. |

Nancy Haylock, Vice President, has been a Niles resident for 26 years. She and her husband Doug had a graphic art and film business for 15 years, which evolved into a computerized graphics and software business. After selling the business Nancy began volunteering at the Centerville Free Dining Room. Nancy loves being involved in the Niles community and she is famous for the cookies she so generously brings to many Niles events!For several years she has been the co-chair person for the Niles Main Street Association's Pink Flamingo Pee Wee Golf Tournament. |

Randi Quaid

Randi and her husband are third generation Niles residents, they moved from across Fremont into their home in Niles in the mid-ninties. Randi says: We have seen many wonderful changes in that time. We have worked on the Niles Dog show for the past 3 years and have really enjoyed being a part of this community. Niles is a real gem, with a bevy of must-see businesses, a beautiful park, elementary school, silent movie theatre, art galleries, historic train, various churches, and several lovely neighborhoods.

 Diana Liles

Diana Liles, Secreatary of NMSA, was raised in Fremont, owns and operates Color Me Quilts & More, the Quilt & Yarn Shop, on Niles Boulevard. Diana has been involved in community service projects since her teens and is currently an advisor for an International non-profit girl’s service organization. Diana is also co-chairman of the East Bay Chapter of the National foundation of Quilts of Valor. Diana served as the 2010 Wildflower, Garden, Quilt & Art Show Chair, organizing Niles' first annual outdoor quilt show. |

Jennifer Barrows

Jennifer Barrows has been a professor of art history at Delta College since 1999 and has a long history in non-profit arts organizations. Upon moving to Niles in 2010, she, her husband John, and two dogs fell in love with the community. She works on the Niles Dog Show (where Darwin and her niece Maddy won the Junior Handler award), donates an egg-ornament tree to the annual Main Street Silent Auction, and helps her husband create the art-based holes for the Pink Flamingo Golf Tournament. She looks forward to participating in future Main Street Association Events. |

Don Dewey |
Don Dewey was born and raised in Niles. In 2000 he became owner of longtime Niles business “The Turquoise Shop” a Native American jewelry store on Niles Boulevard. Don volunteers on the City of Fremont's homeless Taskforce, and has been a volunteer on the Niles Dog Show Committee since 1998.

Keith Elrod moved to Niles in 1997 and quickly began to work with the several Niles groups. He served as Niles Main Street Vice President from 2008-2010, and is also a member of the Merchants Association, a Lifetime member of both the Essanay Silent Film Museum and the Pacific Railroad Association. Keith has been a dealer in Bite and Browse for the past 5 years and opened his own business, Keith’s Collectibles and Books in 2007. Keith is Niles Main Street Association's Antique Fair Organizer. He is employed fulltime with Oracle. |

Joan Soares-Wolfe
|
Joan and her husband Godon have had their business, G&J Collectibles, in Keiths Collectibles since the store opened October of 2006. Joan has always loved spending time and money in Niles. Since being in business in Niles, Joan has met so many wonderful people. Recently with all the new changes, especially the new plaza, Joan wanted to become more involved in the community. Helping out with Niles Main Street memberships was a perfect opportunity.
